Fleurette is quilted and ready for binding. That will be today’s task.
I also dug out some other fabric bits that I’ve been saving and now I have a plan that you will see in a couple of weeks.
Yesterday I had lunch with my Mom and cousin. We meet up once a month to catch up on family happenings. Afterwards, I bought myself a new toy.
My cousin’s son works at the dealership where I bought this. I also wanted an electric chainsaw. Instead of a new one, he offered to sell me his barely used one for a great deal. I’ll get that next week. Both of these will make my life much easier in the jungle we live in.
I’m also starting to do some prep work to paint the guest house. That’s the last thing to do before we can replace carpeting. Then I can be done with expensive house things for a while.
