I finally got both veterans quilts finished. Peg made this first one.

The pinwheel blocks are from a block exchange that the quilt club did this year. Peg set hers in a bright and beachy quilt.
Mom made this next one.

Nancy made a quilt like this a couple of months ago. She said that it was actually a mistake but we all liked it. Mom decided to make one like it.
They are quilted with the Macrame pantograph.

Honestly, the thing I’m spending the most time on is painting the guest house. I started in the bathroom and discovered that I needed to do a pretty significant drywall repair.

It’s taken a few days of applications and dry time. I’m hoping I can finish the first paint coat and also the second coat today.
The drywall in this little house isn’t done very well. If I had not know the guys personally I would think they had been drunk. But I hired them and we weren’t in a position to hire the best builders at the time. I’m fixing what I can and hoping the paint continues to mostly hide the rest.
In case you are wondering about the paint color. This is the leftover paint from our bedroom. At $100/gallon, I want to use it all.
Next up is the bedroom.
It will be light tan.
Today I’ll be painting most of the day.
