The weekend

I will admit that much of yesterday I did nothing but watch football, eat and make a new pumpkin spice bread recipe that I also ate.

Saturday evening I did get my veterans quilt loaded and ready to quilt.

Should I get ahead of today’s project, I might quilt a couple of rows this afternoon.

During last night’s game I  made some progress on the Virginia Tech baby blanket.

I have 2 and a half rows left with the orange and then 10 maroon rows before I can start the border and finish this one off. I’m taking it easy on crochet for them moment. I think I have a little “crochet elbow” and I want to get ahead of it before it turns into something truly annoying. It seems to be getting better.

Otherwise, this weekend I was painting. I finished the second coat in the bathroom.

I have a tiny bit of touch up and then I’m going to paint the trim.

I also got the first coat in the bedroom done. Green is the before.

I still have the living space to do and all of the trim. Yes, I  should have done the trim first but I wasn’t planning to do it until I saw how it looked against the new painted walks.

Today, though, I’m totally focused on a little project using this small pile of scraps.  I want to be back to painting tomorrow.
