What’s next

Yesterday I spent some time in the guest house putting the bedroom and bathroom back together so that I could clutter the bedroom with everything from the tiny “great room”. The bathroom is only waiting for the mirror, windows shade (on order) and new flooring.

The shower curtain is the same one from when the room was beige.

Next up is the prep work (filling holes, sanding and caulking) the last space. I’ll probably get started Monday.  I’d like to wrap up this project in a week.

Today I’m going to the Richmond Quilt Show and, when I  get back, I want to get this quilt loaded on the longarm and get it quilted this week.

I started playing around with the extra fish blocks yesterday.

12 fish is baby quilt sized. I think I’ll mix the colors randomly on this one and see how it goes. This will probably be a donation quilt.

I also need to get to the dye studio soon and dye a backing for the fish quilt and several backing for veterans quilts. It’s been months since I dyed anything. I hope I remember how to do it.
