My fish have an ocean!

This quilt top has been waiting almost 4 weeks for the vertical sashing. It was a bit of a conundrum because I had to make a 77″ sashing from a 40″ gradient.

It’s not perfect but it’s fine! The fish stand out much better now that the sashing is in. This one will go in the closet to wait for a backing and quilting.

Meanwhile I have a ton of leftovers.

There’s going to be a baby quilt for sure and probably some placemats.  But there will still be at least 3 more blocks.

There’s plenty of fabric for a baby quilt and a ton of bits. I’ll probably spend way too much time playing with the bits but it will be fun.

Today I’ll be back in the guest house getting the next room ready for painting.

These are really wonderful. I can sense the water movement and the shimmering fish. Super job!

The fish are so cute! Sometimes I think fabric multiples each time I use it! You have plenty of leftovers to play with!
