This painting project is like many others, start one task and discover two more that need to be done. I thought I’d be on to painting trim yesterday but it turned out to be only a prep day of patching holes and caulking trim. I has a long set back trying to remove the quarter-round from the baseboards in the little bathroom.

Someone didn’t want this trim to ever be removed. It was attached with 4″ nails! Who does that?
Pulling this out from around a toilet was no fun at all!
After a bunch of compensatory snacks I relaxed by loading the next 2 veterans quilts for quilting.

I won’t get much quilting done until next week. Tomorrow morning Mom and I will head to Chesapeake to visit family.
Last night during a surprising football game, I made good progress on the Virginia Tech baby blanket.

The last orange section is done and I’m 3 rows in on the last maroon section. Only 7 rows left before the border.
I’ll take the linen stitch blanket on our little trip to work on in the hotel.
Now, I need to get busy painting.
