By the time this posts we will be on the road listening to a book and I’ll be working on my travel crochet projects. It’s about 16 hours over 2 days so I should get a lot done.
One thing I like to work on it the car is hats. Small projects are good and this particular one, using bulky yarn, is quick and easy.
This hat looks pretty ugly when it’s flat but it looks really good on a head. I like making large and extra large hats for donation for men. More homeless people are men so I figure the demand is higher. The pattern is called the Chunky Guy and it used to be on Etsy but I can’t find it anymore. For yarn, I’m using Premier Serenity Chunky.
I bought some yarn for a baby blanket from Premier and they had Serenity on sale for $9 for a 3 pack. I bought 4 packs and can get 2 large and on XL hat our of 3 skeins.
I’ll also have my wheelchair blanket to work on. I’ve made some progress on this since I finished all the potholders.
This blanket will probably be done in the next week so I packed a new project to start. The new one is a baby blanket and will be done in a plaid pattern. Can you guess what college the new Dad went to?
