Yesterday, between packing, I needed to make birthday postcards for two of my brothers. I spent most of the day just trying to think of an idea. I do tend to go beach themed with them but then I think I saw a snowman card somewhere and that led me to the song Enter Sandman.
So I made a sandman.
I even got to use my Dad’s drafting set for the circles.
This set dates back to about 1958.
Next I asked Grok to make a video with it.
I love what itcame up with!
One more thing that I have to share. Last December I sprained my ankle pretty badly on a slippery rug. It had a pad under it but it just didn’t work well enough. That sent me on a search for better rug pads and I found these.
They are amazing and I’ve put them under every rug in my house, even the floor cloths in the kitchen. One sewing day after fighting my foot pedal all day, I put one on the underside of the foot pedal. I had to cut it to fit but this works better than and gadget that I’ve tried before. It works on carpet or smooth floor.
I’ve already used almost 2 whole packs of these things all around the house.
It might be a couple of days before I post again. Today will be packing all day and we will get in 9 – 10 hours of driving tomorrow. I should get in a lot of crochet time in the car.
