A finished top!

I got the borders on tge Monty Scraps quilt yesterday and I’m very happy with the result. I had no enthusiasm for this quilt at all until I cut up the gradient for tge sashing. Now I love it!

It will finish to about 64″ x 87″. I don’t have a destination for it. I don’t even have a backing. This might languish in the closet until I  am told where it’s home needs to be.

Next up I will cut the background pieces for this quilt to get the kit finished and ready for Maine.

I also need to make something dog beds because I have 3 big bags of batting scraps taking up too much space in my sewing room.

Sitting at my sewing machine I was able to keep a close eye on the fawn and doe.
