I’ve been so distracted by the construction activities in the house that.my concentration for other things has been weak. The work is going well and should be done tomorrow. Of course it’s crazy dusty in the house. I’ll be doing a deep clean this weekend and we’ll start prepping for painting.

We’ve spent a lot of time watching the fawn. The doe seems to think it’s safest near the house.

I haven’t been sewing as much as I should but I started putting the quilt top together.

We’ve been watching a lot of the World Cup so I’ve made a little progress on the crochet wheelchair blanket.

I’ve even gotten to go to sewing with my quilt club. I’m using my new machine and loving it. I’ll have a more thorough report tomorrow.

I went out to check on our Mulberries and as I was looking up at the tree I heard a noise and looked down and here comes one of our fawns running up to me. He got 10 feet from me before I decided it wasn’t safe for me in case the doe came to his rescue. He turned and ran away.

Still waiting to see a little one around here! Lots and lots of deer but no babies yet. Loving the blanket. Is that gray you’re using with the green?? What yarn?

I have not spent much time recently watching for deer but they are there! I don’t spend much time with the tv on and never have gotten into sports all that much but I know a lot of people love watching them

I’d spend a lot of time watching that fawn too, so sweet. Handwork is nice while watching sports, your crochet blanket is looking great. Looking forward to your post on your new machine!

I don’t normally watch a lot of tv, but last night we went to eat. The Canada vs Qatar game was on, so I saw a bit of it. I have seen far more Mexican teams playing fûtbol (soccer) since we saw a lot of it on tvs in Mexico.

awwwww – that fawn would be high on my watch list too! Amazing that the mom feels comfortable enough to have him/her that close to humans.
