Beaching

We’ve made it to the beach and are having a great time with the family. We arrived late afternoon yesterday and are getting settled in.

I brought my crochet projects with me. Here’s where they stand now. We’ll see if I accomplish anything this week. Not much is going to happen with a 2 year old to play with.

As of Saturday the cutting table was a mess. I just couldn’t come home to that so I straightened up Saturday night.

I got the next veterans quilt ready to load and organized Trailside so I can get right back on it next week.

There was a huge stack of batting scraps to chop up.

They were added to this collection.  I need to get busy on some new pet beds. I’m guessing there’s enough for 6 or 7 beds here.

Finally, I have this pile of scraps from Monty and Trailside. I need to come up with a plan for these too.

Maybe another veterans quilt or something placemats.

For now, though, I’m just going to plant myself on the beach with a book.

I am not a beach person but that does look pretty. I don’t know why but I do not enjoy laying around at the beach, I don’t mind looking for sea shells but I don’t enjoy the sticky humidity feel with sand sticking to you lol – I don’t swim and will wade into it no more than waist high, I have a fear of water I don’t want any to hit my face. I have my reasons but people don’t always respect your feelings in the water and will splash it at you regardless thinking they can help you get over your fear or thinking it is funny.
