A little sewing time.

A little sewing time.

The weather here has been great so we’ve spent as much time outside as possible. That means that I haven’t done much sewing.  But I did make a little progress yesterday.

I got half of the HSTs opened and I got the background pieces for the bear blocks. I found a muffin tray in the kitchen to use as an organizer.

This condo was not designed with the sewing, or reader, for that matter,  in mind. The lighting isn’t great but I’m making do. There is a reasonably bright ceiling light in the second bedroom (sewing nook) so I’ll be able to sew while it’s raining the next 2 days

Here are a few photos from our walk yesterday.

Today I’m heading to the art museum with some friends and then to check out a local yarn shop.

Enjoy the weather and the flora and fauna! The sewing can wait! A yarn shop? That sounds dangerous! LOL! Patty

I’m Vicki

I’m Vicki Welsh and I’ve been making things as long as I can remember. I used to be a garment maker but transitioned to quilts about 20 years ago. Currently I’m into fabric dyeing, quilting, Zentangle, fabric postcards, fused glass and mosaic. I document my adventures here.
