The beach

The beach

I’m writing quickly this morning before we pack up to head home. We’ve had a lovely time at the beach.

It was beautiful when we arrived Friday and Saturday was spectacular. We spent a couple of hours on the beach manufacturing vitamin D.

I even made a new friend.

We’ve stayed in this condo before and knew that we had a perfect sewing table.

I got busy working on my Monty leftovers quilt. The pattern has a name that I’ve forgotten at the moment.

There are two block designs. Of this design, I got all the brown ones done and half the green ones.

I also started a new crochet project.

It’s going to be a summer weight cardigan. If I’m lucky, it will be done by winter. It would be good to have in Arizona next winter.

Mom and I also got to see her Great Granddaughter and that was a special treat. I can’t wait to spend a week with her at the family beach week next month.

For now, the rest time is over and we’re headed home.
