Continue reading →: Enter Sandman and a tipYesterday, between packing, I needed to make birthday postcards for two of my brothers. I spent most of the day just trying to think of an idea. I do tend to go beach themed with them but then I think I saw a snowman card somewhere and that led me…

Continue reading →: Mom’s birthday cardI Sent this card about 3 weeks ago but I forgot to take a photo. I was at her apartment this week and finally got a photo. I’ll readily admit that the idea for this came from the internet. The original was much better than mine! I always love an…

Continue reading →: Well, that got out of handI feel like I channeled my inner Patty, whose motto seems to be “why make one when you can make 100”. I started the potholders mostly because I needed new ones but I also like to keep a few around for gifts. When I started I just found some fabrics…

I celebrated the month by quilting a lot of quilts for our veterans. I finished 2 more yesterday to include in…

Continue reading →: July AudiobooksJuly was a mixed reading month. I had some real winners but also a few duds. I find a lot of my books through BookTube channels and I think I should pay more attention to whether I am watching a true review video vs a book haul video. I think…
Hello,
I’m Vicki
I’m Vicki Welsh and I’ve been making things as long as I can remember. I used to be a garment maker but transitioned to quilts about 20 years ago. Currently I’m into fabric dyeing, quilting, Zentangle, fabric postcards, fused glass and mosaic. I document my adventures here.
