After I finish a big project, like Fleurette, I am usually a little scattered for a few days. This weekend I didn’t make it into the sewing room or back to the longarm. Instead, I watched a lot of football and mostly crocheted.
I made good progress on the Virginia Tech baby blanket.
I only have 2 more row sections left to do. That’s a total of 20 rows. Then I can get on to the border.
This photo is the closest, of all I’ve taken, to showing the real colors. The orange really is this bright.
I also started a new hat. Mary sent me th link for this pattern and I had a leftover skein of Caron Simply Soft to use to try it out. The starting rounds are a little tricky but I think it will go fast once the crown is done.
I have one more project that I’m starting.
I’m going to paint the tiny guest house and I’m starting with this bathroom. I did the wall repairs yesterday and will probably start painting Wednesday.
We have to go to Charlottesville tomorrow so I probably won’t get much done Tuesday.
