I didn’t get much time in the sewing room yesterday but I did get started messing around with the project using these strings.

I did deliver a stack of veterans quilts along with Fleurette.

Jen has been coordinating the delivery of our veterans quilts since 2018. She makes sure they get to the right departments in both local VA facilities. I have been wanting to make a quilt for her but wasn’t sure of her style.  I know she likes vintage things. While I was making Fleurette is slowly became Jen’s quilt.

I was still worried and gave her permission to pass it on to someone else. Instead she sent me the photo with it in her daughter’s room (now the guest room). I think Fleurette found a good home!
