When we arrived yesterday the lake looked gorgeous! It was quite breezy but beautiful for sitting on the dock with the neighbors/hosts.

We even has a visit from a loon.

I never get tired of seeing or hearing them.

On the way up yesterday I only finished one hat. My hand was a little sore from the gay before and we also made a couple of stops along the way.

Gene and Vickie were kind enough to find and send me the link for the pattern. This is the easiest hat pattern that I’ve done. This one is for bulky weight yarn but I think the shop has the pattern for the same hat in worsted and super bulky.

I mentioned that we stopped on the way. One of the places we usually stop is the LL Bean Flagship store.

There are outlet stores all over the state so you have to work pretty hard to avoid encountering one. I can usually find 1 or 2 things that I might need.

After visiting with the neighbors/hosts and having dinner I got busy with my priority task of setting up the sewing station.

It’s small but sufficient. I use the picnic table on the porch for my organizing and set up and the ironing station is the top of the dryer.

Today I can finally start sewing the fish blocks! We’ll also get out the kayaks and do some floating in the lake.
