I Sent this card about 3 weeks ago but I forgot to take a photo. I was at her apartment this week and finally got a photo.

I’ll readily admit that the idea for this came from the internet. The original was much better than mine! I always love an opportunity to use some of my big stash of Shibori.

Maybe I should have used some for potholders…..nah!

I decided to play around on Grok for a minute and asked it to automate the image. Here’s what it came up with.

Isn’t that cute? should have added clouds to the card!

I also did packing chores yesterday. Today I need to make birthday cards for 2 of my brothers. I’ve always been impressed that my Mom was able to time 3 of her 4 births 3 days in a row. My brothers are 1 and 8 years younger than me. The three of us always had a group birthday “party” but she would bake 3 cakes.

Maybe that’s why she started teaching us to bake around the age of 8.

wow how wild is that. One of my brother’s and his family all seem to have birthdays one after another and some on the same day. They say it just happened no one timed anything. And then in the family over all we have 3 birthdays on Nov. 1st, my uncle, one of my sisters and one of my nieces.

My word – three days in a row for birthdays – that’s a feat! I always thought that the fact that my DH’s brother and sister were born on the same day and then our two youngest grandies were born on the same day too. DH and I are a day apart (plus 12 years).
