I got the next 2 veterans quilts loaded yesterday.

I quilt for about an hour at a time so that I don’t mess up all the great work my chiropractor has done to straighten out my back. That hour equates to about 1 bobbin and yesterday’s session got me almost through 1 quilt. I’ll get both of these done today after I do my weed killing chores first. Depending on if another top gets delivered to me by the weekend, I have either 2 or 4 more quilts to quilt before the August meeting.
After lunch, I got my hiking pants hemmed. I can now start packing for our vacation.

Until we leave I’ll be sewing my stack of potholders. I cut these out a few weeks ago. I ten to make them in large batches and keep them around for gifts. My stockpile was getting low and this is a great thing to sew over the next couple of weeks.

I got 4 done yesterday and lots more left to do. If you want to make some, here’s the pattern that I use.
