Now that Trailside is done, I’m planning some new projects.

I have 2 more veterans quilts to quilt before Tuesday. They are loaded and quilting has started.

That reminds me that I should dye some more blue quilt backs next week.

In the sewing room I have a lot of scraps still left from Monty and Trailside.

There are a couple of veteran sized quilts in there for sure.  I’m going to start by making some 12″ blocks and see where it goes from there.

I also want to use up some more feedsack fabrics and some of my hand dyed “waste” fabrics. I think I’m going to cut some block kits with these patterns to take with me to Maine. I would just make blocks there and do the assembly back here.

I think the fishes will be really cute in the hand dyed fabrics. I might have to dye a background. I think I’d like colorful fish on a blueish background but still quite light.

For another sewing project, I think I’ll start some potholders.

These projects should keep me busy for a while.

Those do look like interesting projects. Great idea to pair a pale blue background for the fish. The leftover Trailside fabrics could make a great autumn or mountain theme project.
