It has a home!

Once my thread problem was solved, I  was able to quickly finish quilting the scrappy quilt.

I just need to trim and binding it. Thanks to Mom, it now has a home to go to.  She suggested Hanover Safe Place. That’s the perfect solution for this quilt so now I’m motivated to get it done.

Last night was quilt club. We had a great program on designs for longarm quilting. We always collect finished veterans quilts and tops ready for quilting.  Our group has about 20 regular members and I’m always bringing home big stacks. Last night was no exception. I came home with 8 quilts and 8 more tops to quilt.

They are an amazing group of ladies. They make sure that Brenda and I don’t get rusty with our quilting.

I thought, for all the quilts you end up bringing home to work on, that the group was much larger than that. That’s a pretty incredible output for so few people.

Pat yourself on the back for all you do for the veterans quilts, amazing amount you picked up and brought home!

That is a nice stack of quilts to work on while you keep your skills intact.
