Becky’s other veterans quilts

Here are the two other veterans quilts that Becky made with her hand dyed stash. I’ve seen sneak peeks at a 4th one that’s in the works.

I have will left to quilt but I know at least 2 more are being dropped off this week!

In the garden, a strange thing is happening to the black irises. Some of them seem to be reverting. All of these are in the bed of black irises.

Oh my I love that purple in the black iris bed! The stripe in that one quilt really sets a tone of look at me, gotta love that!

A curious thing about irises is that if they drop seeds, those seeds may grow a different color. Likely, what has happened is that your Black dropped some seeds and it germinated and grew a purple. Purple seems to be the most vigorous grower among them

I love the purple and black iris’ together but recognize that the purple might not be your wish. The hand dyes look so nice in a quilt and I especially like the b&w borders in the first one. They set off the dyed fabrics beautifully.
