Almost there

Almost there

We spent the last 2 days driving from Nashville to Albuquerque.  We spent one night in Oklahoma City and, this morning we awoke in Albuquerque.

The driving was pretty easy I’m told. Being a passenger was a breeze. We got to Albuquerque in time to spend a couple of hours in Old Town. The sun was out and it was nice to be outside.

Oklahoma and Texas were very cold and windy but we did make a very quick stop to see Cadillac Ranch. It’s a fun, silly diversion from a long, boring drive.

I wasn’t bored though. In the last 2 days I made a lot of progress on the wheelchair blanket. I started at the pink stitch marker. This is a simple pattern with 5 rows of double crochet alternated with 5 rows of v stitches.

I think that for today’s ride I will go back to the scarf. Only 7 more hours and we can unpack and unwind.

I am assuming that you are there already as I write this. I hope your trip is a lot of fun. My trip/cruise was a delight. I met some new friends, had some fun, and got a break that I really needed.
I did, however, bring home a good old fashioned cold. “If my nose was running money, I’d be a millionaire!”

Cadillac Ranch looks like it would be a fun pit stop. One wonders at the person that came up with the concept!

You are lucky to be able to crochet in a moving car. That would make me car sick. Patty
