And golf. I spent a lot of time this weekend watching golf. But I did get the borders finished on Mom’s quilt.
The outer border is kind of a diagonal piano key border. It’s a little harder than a piano key but this is what it needed. I’m close to being done!
I’m not sure if it will get done this week. We have to deal with the taxes, get the new AC units installed and there are a couple of other meetings. I also have 2 sewing days this week. Then on Friday, Mom and I head to Virginia Beach with another friend for the weekend. It will be a fun week but it might not include quilting.
But I will squeeze in some time with the Cricut.
I’m making summer shirts for Cora. There are 10 in all. I got the first 3 made last night. The white one will be a beach craft project. I bought fabric markers for her to color it.
I was also able to get out on the lake Saturday evening for the first kayak session of the season. It was beautiful.
