2 new veterans quilt tops

We had another great day sewing at the Montpelier Center.  The Center has a daycare and today was their Christmas “show” for their families. These kids are all pre-school aged and I have total respect for the ladies who run it. It’s got to be like wrangling cats. We got to watch the show and it was concurrently cute and hilarious.

Even with a diversion, I finished my HST top!

Mom had finished what she was working on Wednesday so I  gave her this quilt to finish.

I intended to come home and work on the memory quilt but, within 30 minutes of arriving, I sprained my ankle. So, I’m in crochet mode for the time being.

I’ll see how things are today.

You are amazing how fast you got the HST top sewn together! It is very pretty. I’m not a fan of patriotic fabric, but that quilt top is good looking! Sorry to read about spraining your ankle. I hope it feels better soon. Patty

I’m sorry you’re in the land of the walking wounded! Glad you got to watch the kiddos – they’re so much fun at that age. We’re hopeful our daughter-in-love will send us a video of their two oldest (9 and 5) doing their Christmas show.
