A quick check in

A quick check in

I haven’t accomplished much the past 2 days. Mom had a somewhat minor surgery, and she’s recovering well. But that has been our focus. Here’s the little that x we’ve accomplished.

I opened the kiln with my full fuse pieces. I’m mostly really happy. Some things are coming back to me, like how to prevent bubbles between layers. I didn’t do it quite right for these, but they are all fine.

Wednesday morning,  before surgery, Mom got lots of cutting done for a new bed quilt she is making.

I started working on the t-shirts for my Grand Niece. Nothing it ironed on yet. I’m working on all of the designs first.

While I sat in the waiting room, I  finished 10 rows of the wheelchair blanket.

I’m also spending too much time setting up a new computer. Not fun.

Today, we only have to run 2 quick errands.  I want to get back to the t-shirts and maybe get 2 veterans’ quilts ready for the longarm.

You have a lot of nice designs laid out for the T-shirts. You do so many things and do them all well.

I see what might be bubbles in the dark Aqua/teal piece of glass, but I love it. All of those pieces look nice.

The T-shirt designs are looking good. And you have made a great start on the wheelchair blanket.
I am glad to hear that Mom is recovering nicely

Love your glass work, just beautiful! Those colors are so interesting with the swirls. Hope your mom is back to sewing soon.

The glass is looking great! Don’t envy you the setting up of a new computer…I live in fear of mine giving up the ghost and needing to get a new one.
