Glass and crochet

Yesterday, I spent the afternoon preparing to fuse more glass. This time for 4 different dish molds. Each is 2 layers. They go through a flat fuse first and will be slumped into molds next. This will take a few days to finish, if all goes well.

I showed you a swatch for a new blanket Monday. I’ve now started the blanket and can take it today to work on while Mom has an appointment.

The big blanket is coming along. I’m almost at the exact halfway point.

I always liked the glass objects you used to make and show I thought they were beautiful pieces. The kiln is working then after not being used for several years?

I love the way your glass choices match your fabric dyeing aesthetic.
It is nice to have a take-along project for appointment waiting times.

I’m happy to see a return to glass – I’ve always loved glass and pottery.
