Painted Ladies

My sewing day yesterday started by helping a friend replace her seat belt strap. Thank goodness all I had to do was the stitching. She now has to reinstall the whole mechanism in her car so that it will pass inspection.

In the afternoon, I got busy binding the Painted Ladies quilt. That took about 3 hours.

Painted Ladies, 60 x 72

But now it’s done! This is my 12th quilt of the year if I include veterans quilts. I just love how it turned out and it was so much fun to make. I created a page here with all the details and a link to the pattern.

Today Mom and I have our dental appointments but I will be back after lunch and probably get started on 2 more veterans quilts.

I don’t even no what I finished this year – no where near 12 for sure. Repairing a seat belt doesn’t sound like fun nor re-installing it. Love the quilt

Of course you should include your own veterans quilts in your total! Your painted ladies is so pretty.

It looks great. I love the picture of the back on the other page.
I would never have thought of repairing a seat belt myself. But, now……

Well who knew you could even replace (or fix) a seatbelt. I never would have thought of it.
Your painted ladies turned out wonderfully!
