Yesterday was another errand day. In the afternoon, I needed to get started on binding, but I had a major procrastination session.

It’s not that I mind the actual binding so much. It’s the joining of the binding that I don’t like.
Why?
I don’t know.
Eventually, I convinced myself to sit down and just join the binding for the 2 veterans quilts. Of course, once I was engaged and had my audiobook going, I got both quilts bound.

This is probably the 4th or 5th string pieced diamond quilt I’ve made. I didn’t love this one until I got the binding on. It needed that black frame. The blocks are 8″ x 10″. Six blocks across and down maked a perfect 48″ x 60″ quilt.

I really, really love this quilt. The batiks scraps are from a project that I made a few years ago. The pattern is called Crossroads and is from the book Colorful Quilts For Fabric Lovers by Amy Walsh and Janine Burke. That book is one of my favorites. This quilt came together quickly. I know I’ll make it again.
Today, I’ll try to get the binding on the houses quilt.
