More quilting

I started yesterday by delivering a new batch of veterans quilts. Conveniently, our contact lives only 4 miles from me. I don’t even have to drive them to Fredericksburg.  This delivery had 23 quilts, bringing our YTD total to 103.

Inspired, I came home and finished quilting 2 more. This one was made by my Mom.

The other quilt is the string quilt that I made. Now I have 3 quilts to bind this week.

All 4 of the recent quilts were quilted with the Macrame pantograph. Now I need to get busy doing some binding

I also have a new project! My grand-niece is getting new long sleeves t-shirts for winter. It’s time to get out the dyes and the Cricut.

good use of the strings – I am guessing that stack of white t-shirts will look totally different soon!

That is an impressive amount of veterans quilts for this year. I’m sure every one of them is appreciated.

I love the way that quilting design works so well on the quilt your Mom made.
it will be fun to see what you do with the shirts.

Can’t wait to see how the shirts turn out! Your group is so blessed to have you longarm the quilts.

That’s an impressive number of quilts for the vets!

Waking up to frost on the cars this morning means I’d soon better be digging out my long-sleeved shirts, but I don’t want to (stomping my foot, along with the whining over the cold).

Interesting – I left the foot stomping comment and it’s not coming up as being me when it published. Hmmmm…..wonder why.

MA – who is puzzling about whatever has happened to my identity!
