Weekly crochet update

Weekly crochet update

Now that football season has started, I’ll be crocheting a lot more. I thought that I’d just do a weekly update on my crochet projects. Here’s my progress after 1 week.

I rotate my projects by day. I made the most progress on the scarves because I worked on them Sunday. I finished one and started the other. I had 7 skeins of this yarn, and 3.5 skins is perfect for one scarf. I’ll get 2 done and won’t have any yarn leftover! I want to get these done soon so I can deliver a bag full of things to From The Heart in the next 2 weeks.

I worked on this shawl during the Saturday games.  We also had company. I’d say that I spent more time talking than stitching. This one is next in rotation for Thursday night.

I worked on the blanket on Thursday and Monday. I’m far enough along that you can see the pattern now. I think it’s going to look nice. I have these colors because they were on sale, and they look pretty nice together. This one is going to take a few months. I get 3 – 4 rows done during one game.

I’m still plugging along on Eclipse for a few hours every day.

It’s good to have a project you can just pick up and not have to think too much about. Patty

Those scarves from the slippery yarn are going to be pretty. I am sure they will be loved.

and the big bonus is that the yarn is out of your stash.

Nice work on your crocheting. I love having handwork to do while watching TV.

I like having a variety of projects on the go at any one time and like you say it’s easier on the hands (and lessens boredom too).
