I don’t have a lot to share today.

I started yesterday with a couple of hours on the kayak  and then got to sewing.  It was a hot day, about 95F, so I was moving a little slower. These little star parts go together pretty quickly. Only 2 more sets of 8, and I’ll have the right stars done, and I can move on to the left stars.

The heat really isn’t bad. We have an air conditioner in the bedroom and kitchen. The humidity is low, so 95 here is not nearly as bad as 95 in Virginia.

But it’s too warm for crocheting.  I’ve only added a few rows since my last update, and I don’t expect to do much more before we leave. This photo is terrible because I took it at night in bad lighting.

Today, I’m going to head into Farmington to check out a couple of stores after a long morning walk.

Wow, 95 in Maine is almost unheard of. And, yes that is definitely too hot to be making a blanket in your lap. Enjoy your walk.

95 is hot, humidity or not. We’re in the mid 80s but humidity is high.

The star blocks are looking good. I’m sure they sew up faster than the previous sections.

I could handle that heat as long as there’s no humidity. All the same, I’d be grateful for a/c. I agree that it’s too hot to crochet though.
