Progress on the Eclipse quilt

I don’t have a lot to share today. Yesterday, I did a morning walk and then settled in for a few hours of sewing.  The A, B1, and B2 blocks are all done, and I love how it’s looking!

I got the foundation papers for the C blocks folded and the first seam ready to sew. I don’t think I’ll make any progress today. We’re heading to Bath to visit with friends from Chris’ early Navy days. When we get back, we’ll go for a kayak ride. I’ll get back to the quilt on Sunday.

We had our first bit of rain yesterday evening.  It really was only a sprinkle, but it left a pretty mist over the mountains across the lake.

I’ll post next on Monday.

You’ve made good progress on your piecing and it is looking spectacular. I’ve followed your blog for quite awhile and this project is one of my favorites ever. Right up there with your Spirograph floor coverings 😀

Nice, one of the things I love about hand dyed fabrics, like yours, is that they add depth and visual texture to any design.
