Yesterday’s post didn’t post until this morning due to a user error. That one recaps Monday. This post is about yesterday when not much happened.

We had had some rain so hiking was out and it was too windy for kayaking. Oh bummer, I had to sew and crochet all day.

I finished the last 4 blocks (bottom row)! There some possibility that I’ll arrange them and sew them together before we leave. I think tomorrow is supposed to be rainy.

I’m starting to think about the 2 day ride home and realized that the plaid crochet blanket will be too unwieldy for car work. You have to work with two colors at a time and keeping that straight between snacks and bathroom breaks is too much to ask of me.

I saw that Mary had been working on one of the linen stitch blankets and that’s a perfect car project.  I headed over to Walmart for some yarn and got it set up for car crochet all the way home. I’ll finish it during this football season. It will make a very nice donation blanket.

I also have been spending some time thinking about the batik fabrics that I bought and what I might make with them. Then I saw this post on Wanda’s blog. Snail’s Trail will be perfect!

Here’s a quick mockup in EQ for a queen sized quilt.

Any leftovers would be nice in a Hunter’s Star veterans quilt.

I think I have a plan!
