I’m rolling with the veterans quilts. I’ll probably have to take a break later this week to do some more painting. Hopefully I can get 6 or 8 before the painting break. I know my back will appreciate a change of pace.

These next 2 quilts were made by Margaret. She turned in 12 finished quilts last month and several tops for quilting. She’s been going through her scrap bins. She said both of these were quick.

It’s made with 3 1/2″ and 6 1/2″ squares. This is the block.

She even used some orphan blocks.

I have the next 2 quilts loaded. Today, before I get back to quilting, I have to go to the first of 2 training sessions to work the voting precinct next month. It’s a Senate primary and only for one party. 4 hours of training for a day that’s probably going to have less than 300 voters.

But I’ll be back to quilting this afternoon.

You are moving along quickly with those quilts. I really love the way she added those orphan blocks . Those make the quilt more interesting to me.
