12 pillows!

Look at that beautiful pile of pillows! I finished the last 3 yesterday. I’m absolutely thrilled with the way they turned out.

The backs were fun to make. I used all the leftover button packets and clothing parts.  There are several joggers pants in there. When I ran out of button packets, I used zippers on the rest.

The fronts are backed with batting and interfacing and then quilted on either side of the seam. The seam joining the front and back is also double stitxhed for strength  These will not come apart and should hold up well for washing.

His initials are in the center and the 4 corners represent his love of family, his dedication to fitness and his faith and patriotism. These were all done with the Cricut and heat transfer vinyl.

Not only did I get the pillows done but the quilt is almost quilted! The whole project should be done by the weekend.

Today, after some errands, I  will get back to it. Could I possibly have this done by Friday?

What an awesome pile of pillows! Great idea using the button plackets for the openings on the back. These will be treasures, for sure.
