Moving on to something else

Eclipse is finally all together! The last seams were beastly to match up, but I had football to get me through it.

Boy, was it messy!

Here’s how it will look one day on the bed. I dyed the dark blue to match the headboard and the color palette Ian from the painting over the bed.

I don’t know when I’ll get around to quilting it. I need to dye the back first. I’m going to take a break from this project and quilt some veterans’ quilts next.

I’ve been watching this one come together and it is stunning! You are fearless, taking on these kinds of monumental projects, and I admire your work. I can well understand taking a break 🙂

Oh my word – talk about spectacular!!! You are most deserving of a break because this one has been intense. You, of course, know I love it.

Oh!! WOW!!! Seeing it on the bed really helps to see the scale of it!

I think you need a bigger trashcan when working on a project like this.
