Ready to assemble Eclipse!

I found some focus yesterday and got all of the Eclipse border blocks assembled.  All of the foundation piecing is done!

The next step is to sew some of the border blocks together before I start assembling the center.

Judy Neimeyer has the most detailed instructions that include these assembly diagrams.

We have friends visiting this weekend, so I’m not sure how much sewing will get done. I’ll do as much as I can. I emptied my big trash can in my sewing room to get ready for removing all the foundation papers.

I hope you have a great weekend!

That is a very detailed assembly diagram. I am sure that I would manage to sew some part of it together incorrectly.
Do you sew the pieces together with the foundations on them?

You have made enough of Judy’s quilts to understand the assembly quickly. Any of us doing one of her quilts the first time may not find it as easy.

Step by step you’re getting there. I think the end result will prove you’ve outdone yourself once again. You keep coming up with such incredible designs that would befuddle people like me.
