I got two more veterans quilts quilted Monday. This first one was made by Anne.

I love how bright and vibrant it is.

The next one was made by my Mom.

Black, white and red is always a winner with me.

Yesterday I hosted my second longarm lesson with Charlotte and Magnolia.

They are fast learners. They practiced free motion stippling and loops from the front and a few rows of pantograph from the back. They cut up their practice pieces to make into placemats. Next week they will be ready to start a real quilt

Today I need to get back to the guest house and get some work done on the fish quilt.

Oh yes! I love Anne’s vibrant “storm at sea” pattern. The colors really sing on the black background. My brother would love the one your mom made. Red, black and white are his combo too. I made a quilt for him and one for his son with those colors.

Congrats to Charlotte and Magnolia. Hmmm… that sounds like a great name for a fancy gift shop – Charlotte and Magnolia.
