We had quite the ordeal this morning to get into the room we here we were sewing. None of us had the correct key code and that took about an hour to resolve. We eventually got in the room and got back to sewing.
We stayed long enough for me to finish this top. This one is 100% scraps. I designed this one specifically to use a stack of anvil blocks that I cut out over the past few years. I’m happy enough with the way it turned out and it does look better IRL.
I don’t think I’d make this one again. It wasn’t all that much fun to sew.
Do you know what was fun? Using my new Necchi C32e sewing machine. It’s a sweet little machine and I love it!
Now I’m on task to quilt up the 14 veterans tops before the end of the month. That includes this one.
