2 finished veterans quilts

It’s nice to be back on the easy quilts! I finished my 2 veterans quilts today.

This is such an easy quilt to make. The blocks are 12″ finished and set 4 blocks by 5 rows. There’s an A block and B block set alternately.

I cut 20 background strips 2.5″ wide and 20 color strips, also 2.5″ wide. I had 10 prints so cut 2 of each.

Next I sewed a background and color strip together along the length. I pressed the long seam and then cut 9 4.5″ squares from each strip set.

Sew half the blocks in each layout (A and B) and arrange them alternating blocks.

You can easily make one of these in a day.

Today I’ll load 2 more veterans quilts to quilt.
