I’m not even talking about the fresh green grass or the layer of pollen on my car. I’m talking about my current projects.
My new postcard project is using green scraps and my new crochet project uses green and gray yarns.

The new project will be a wheelchair blanket and I’m using some Caron Simply Soft that I bought at Joanns when they went out of business. It’s a simple ripple pattern using the linen stitch. I made it once before and I remembered that it was a challenge to start. The instructions are written like a long Proustian run-on sentence. On my 4th attempt I finally noticed that I had written a nice little chart for myself at the bottom of the page. Once I followed that it was easy.
Aside from other chores, I finally stopped procrastinating on Mom’s quilt. I threaded up some green thread and wound a green bobbin, put on my big girl shorts and commenced quilting.

There are area that I still don’t know how I’ll quilt but I had the light areas figured out and I’m happy with it so far.

I’m still healing a persistent back problem so I’m limiting myself to 1 bobbin a day. Today I’ll finish up the 3 cream borders.
Progress!
