Pillow backs and more veterans quilts

I got the last 5 pillow backs made today.

I’m so glad that I bought a big lot zippers off eBay a few years ago. A lot of them are extra long and I needed that for these pillow backs. It probably paid for the whole lot just in these pillows.

I still need to sew the pillows together but I was anxious to clean up the sewing room first.

Now I can breathe again!

After that I loaded 2 more veterans quilts. I’ll get started on them or start sewing pillows after Mom and I take care of errands today.

In the past have bought yards of zippers when I was in Mexico. I still have lots of them. They are handy for lots of things.

    The pillow backs look great.

That was great to have some backs that could use the shirt button area.

Wow, a clean work table! I need to see one of those in my house soon.

My goodness – is THAT what a clean working table looks like? It’s been so long since I’ve seen mine because it’s always covered in piles (and not the sort that needs Preparation H either!).
