I only have a couple of things to share since my last post 4 days ago. We continue to have a great time enjoying hot, sunny days.

I haven’t had a lot of sewing time but I’ve had enough to complete 4 more bears. Only one left to go! I really like the streaky bears.
On the vacation front, we’ve taken another hike in the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area.

We saw the only, so far, specimen of a Desert Primrose.

Like every hike here, the views were spectacular.
On another day Laurie and I went to the Tucson Desert Art Museum and saw a great exhibit of Navajo tapestries and western art paintings.
Like last year, the highlight of the week was the Hawk Walk. We had the same Harris Hawk, Nix, that we had last year.

It’s such a treat to be able to hold one and look into her eyes.
Of course we watched the (boring) Super Bowl last night with our friends and today we’re off on a side trip to Petrified Forest to tick off another national park. It’s our last week and we’re trying to make the most of it.
We have had, and are having, a great time but I think we both are ready to start thinking about home.
