Christmas craft day

Christmas craft day

Ella and I  had a great day yesterday! It’s so much fun to spend time with her.

She wanted to make matching sweatshirts for her and her cousin.  Both shirts have the cross on the back and hearts on the front. We used the Cricut to cut the cross template and to cut the fused heart fabric.

Then she saw this little embroidery motif and wanted to add them to the neckband. We still have one sweatshirt neckband to embroider this morning.

Then I found this shirt that I dyed a while back. It will fit her brother so we found a Cricut motif that he would like. He’s 8 and obsessively uses the 67 meme.

Today we’re making a dog pillow and cookies before I have to relinquish her back to her family.

I have a couple grands that are obsessive with 6-7 🤣 I could have had fun with sweatshirts for them if I had this idea sooner. Such a great idea. Love the matching girls’ sweatshirts

She looks very determined! She’s lucky to have you to do fun crafts with. And I have no idea what the significance of 67 is – guess I’ll have to look it up.

It’s so nice you can have her visit to have fun at your house. She sounds like she knows exactly what she wants to do too.

I think Ella will be creative all her life, and you had a big part in helping her do that!

You and Ella are creating memories that will last a lifetime and hopefully you have instilled a love for creativity in her that will last for the rest of her life. I wish I had had a mentor like you!
