It’s good to have many hobbies!

Because when you are down with something like a sprained ankle, at least one of your hobbies will be doable.

My sprain is pretty significant but it’s improving quickly. I’m treating it with red light and DMSO and it’s working great. I could put weight on it within 24 hours and haven’t needed any pain meds. The swelling is down a lot and I  can walk carefully.  Lunges and squats are still a couple of weeks away.

I didn’t work on the quilt at all but I made great progress on this blanket. I only have 3.5 rows left to do!

Today I picked up my young “fake niece”, Ella, for mini craft camp. I think we are appliqueing sweatshirts and, maybe, baking cookies. It should be a fun couple of days.

Sounds like what we would do here. I bought a Lume box that we both use and have used DMSO for knee, neck, and hip pain pretty successfully. No pain meds. I have not been able to get anyone I know to even try these. They guzzle ibuprofen or napoxen. Stretching helps heal also.

Yes, variety is the name of the game for lots of us. I would be so bored only doing one thing. You will have a good time with Ella. It’s always fun to see the curiosity and fearlessness of youngsters.

I always appreciate having many types of hobbies. Creativity is much freer when you can switch forms.

Glad it is improving quickly! Take care not to overdo too soon. It is wonderful to have some handwork project to keep you from going crazy while limited in movement.

Those of us who multi-create are lucky to have something else to fall back on. Hope you heal soon. And have fun with Ella!!
