The third set of cards is taking a lot longer than I wanted! Creating the three “texture” sheets on the Cricut required a lot of learning. There were some significant errors and I discovered that I needed to order a new blade. The blade issue made weeding a very long process.

Last night, after dinner, I finally got them done! The Cricut made up for everything by how fast it cut out the letters. In the past, I would have spent hours hand cutting letters.

Here’s what all that effort was for. The only stitching on these cards will be the big zag between the base colors. The letters will only be fused. It’s not quite the vision that I had, but it’s close enough. I’ve only finished 1 of 21. There’s lots more work to do.

I won’t post again for a few days. We have other things going on this week.  What creative time I have will be decorating and making these cards.
