Bordering blocks

Bordering blocks

Yesterday was mostly spent blowing leaves, making bread and setting up a new TV. I finally got to the sewing room in the afternoon and started adding borders to the 48 crumb blocks.  Two sides are done.

Don’t judge just yet! I think they will look much better when set with the solid blue blocks. At least,  that’s what I keep telling myself!

Mom and I are doing family visits today but I should have a little sewing time.

No judging here! Kudos for getting the tv set up. Something went wacky with mine and I had no idea how to fix it. Call my neighbor, Dave. He is my tech guy locally or if my son visits I have him fix any issues. I am worthless!!!

Pieces and parts aren’t always pretty, but once they come together they are great.

I am not judging at all. I have a feeling that this quilt will be lovely. I love a crumb block quilt, as I have made a few. I am sure the blue setting will be a perfect showcase for these blocks..

oh goodness – I live in fear that our tv gives up the ghost and it will fall on me to set up a new one. I don’t even want to think about it.

Those blocks are looking great so far.
