I’ll take Ella home this afternoon and I will miss her. We had a great time. Carole asked about my relationship with Ella. Ella is my brother’s step-granddaughter. I won’t share photos of her because I won’t share photos of any children on my blog. But I can share that she’s a very kind, energetic, clever, mature, and funny 12 year-old kid.
I will share what we made and you will see that we were very busy! She will pick up her new puppy this afternoon, so everything was puppy related.

We made tons of bows! Her family are Buffalo Bills fans, so I made sure to do one in Eagles colors.
Did you happen to see the Eagles Super Bowl rings? They are very cool.

She made a blanket for the puppy. She did the piecing and quilted it on the longarm. The backing is Minkie, and I did the binding by folding the Minkie to the front. She spent most of Sunday evening snuggled in it. I’m not sure the dog will get this one!

I took some of the extra Minkie and made her a bone pillow.

Next we made a dog bed.

And dog treats!

Most of the weekend was spent making dog bandanas for her dog and 3 others. Most were made with the Cricut, but I also got to teach her some stenciling and screen printing. There are a couple more than what’s in the photos, but you get the idea.
This morning, we are making chocolate chip cookies because her Dad and brother love my chocolate chip gluten-free cookies.
