June Accomplishments and July Goals

June wasn’t a monumental month for creative accomplishments but I got some things done. First, I finished one veterans quilt of my own and quilted 3 others.

My big accomplishment for June was getting this website set up. That took over a week of my time and I’m really happy to have it done. Not to brag, I also washed all 31 windows in my house. That was a few days work!

I also finished 4 placemat sets at the beginning of the month.

I started two projects this month. First I dyed and cut the fabric for my big Eclipse quilt project. This one’s for me to take to Maine as my travel sewing project. the other project is a shirt jacket. This one is made from feedsacks and is a test garment for the “real” one in embroidered linen. This version will be finished by tomorrow.

All in all, it was a good and productive month. Here are the end of month statistics
Quilts – 3
Veterans quilts made – 6
Donation lap quilts – 3
Veterans quilts quilted – 19
Fabric Postcards – 14
Pet Beds – 3
Quilted for others – 1
Crochet blankets – 3
Crochet shawls – 4
Crochet/loom knit hats and scarves –
Placemats and Table Runners – 11
Potholders and tea towels – 22
Dyed shirts and towels – 16
Other Donated items –
Garments (sewn and cochet) – 1
Cricut projects – 18
Other items – 15

My goals for July are:
– make some birthday postcards
– finish the feedsack and linen jackets
– maybe start a new symmetry quilt

I would say you had a good month. You didn’t include all that fabric dyeing you did. Patty

Just dying the fabric and cutting and kitting the Eclipse quilt sounds like a month’s work! I love your veteran’s quilt.
